I’ve been blogging about my 10 day excursion in New Mexico. If you would like to start reading at day one, click here.
I do not have a whole lot to say about our fifth day in New Mexico. It was quite a day, let me tell you! My husband and I were supposed to renew our vows, but we ended up letting some people get us really upset that morning, and it pretty much ruined our mood. We ended up NOT renewing our vows because we were so upset… even with each other by the end of all the drama. I think we both learned an extremely huge lesson from the events that took place on day five… and can honestly say that it has made us stronger in the long run! In the mean time, forgiveness is a lesson I am constantly trying to learn! I think true forgiveness is very difficult.
I LOVE YOU SCOTT!
I should take this opportunity to publicly appologize to Meagan for having to put up with us on her last day in New Mexico! I thank God that she and I are true, close friends or she probably would have never spoken to me again. I’m so blessed that God has placed genuine, honest, understanding, and caring people into my life. And I’m also thankful that I have learned to appreciate them! I LOVE YOU MEAGAN!
Ok… so let me get on with it. Instead of letting Meagan’s last day be completely ruined, we all headed out to eat lunch at Applebee’s and then headed on up to Pecos, New Mexico to visit the Spanish Mission Ruins. This was my second trip to this place, and I was totally in love with it the first time I saw it. It was equally as beautiful this time around and I was thrilled to have someone to share it with this time. It wasn’t until I started being a photographer that I learned to see things in a spiritual nature, and this place is very spiritual. I honestly feel God’s presence on this mountain in Pecos. I will end with the pictures I took at this place. Enjoy!
OH! By the way… this first photo is supposed to be blurry. I’m not really sure that I used it correctly, but my friend Donna loaned me her lensbaby to use while I was in New Mexico. The lensbaby lens is supposed to put one single point in focus and make everything else blurry. I need a lot of practice! Don’t laugh… I just wanted to share one of them with my friend Donna. Thank you Donna for loaning me your lens. I think I need lessons!
