If I have learned anything that is truly important in the last few years it is this: Friends and family are the most important thing in the world! They are more important than any amount of money, fame, talent, success, or CAMERA!
It is not always easy to know when your friends are going through something and they really need you to be there for them. Sometimes your friends are more worried about being a burden to you because they know that you are going through something yourself. Am I rambling yet? Yep… I’m rambling!
In any case… one lesson that I want to pass along to everyone is this: You get just as much out of a true friendship as you are willing to give! And I don’t mean getting money or monetary items. I mean getting love, support, and fulfillment! Sometimes I feel like I am the worst friend ever! I feel so guilty when I find out that one of my friends has been going through something difficult and I didn’t know. Am I caught up in my own little world that much? Or are they simply trying to prevent me from having one more thing to worry about? In any case, I have been the luckiest woman on the planet as far as friendships are concerned. I don’t have friends that are just friends. I have friends that are sisters and brothers!
Listen up friends… and you know who you are! You are a part of my family! Sometimes I depend on you more than I do my own family! And I want to do the same for you. I love you and appreciate how much you have been there for me and supported me when I needed you! You guys are my rock! I would not be able to survive if it weren’t for you!
Kellie… this is for you! I love you dearly and I can not imagine going through what you are going through right now! I am here for you just like you were there for me not too long ago! Stay strong and keep your chin up. This, too, shall pass. But do not hesitate to call me if you need to talk. Do not hesitate to ask me to be there for you! I LOVE YOU!
I love all of my friends. The same message goes to you all! I LOVE YOU! I am the luckiest person in the world to have such an amazing support system and amazing friends and family! I am humbled and thankful!
