As some of you know, my thirteen year old son is graduating the eighth grade this year. I can’t believe I am going to be a mother to a high school student next year. I feel so old! I don’t know what is more sad… my baby growing up, or the realization that my baby is no longer a baby!
My son and several of his eighth grade classmates were assigned a project in their science class where they had to make a video that included factual information, as well as fun facts about Earth Day. My son Tyler said that they immediately knew that they wanted to incorporate Andy Sandberg’s Threw It On The Ground song into this video. Watch what they came up with! My son is the one sitting down reading the factual Earth Day information. But Cody did a hilarious job of acting like a rapper!
Not sure who is doing the actual taping, but my son Tyler did all the editing of the video and added the music. Look out you #wed615 videographers. There’s a new kid in town and he may just give you a run for your money! LOL! I could not be more proud of him. He knew absolutely NOTHING about editing videos, and he sat himself down in front of the computer and played with a program and put this together. I don’t think I could have done this! Isn’t it funny how the little things they do make us proud? My little man! I don’t think these boys could have done a better job at looking like cool nerds if they tried! (They really are cool nerds!)
LEAVE HIM SOME LOVE IN THE COMMENT SECTION! Thanks peeps!
