What would you take with you if you were forced to move very far away, and you could only take what you could fit in your arms? I know that I’ve joked about this in the past, and obviously my first choices would be my camera bag, my laptop, my tripod, and my purse. But I’m here to tell you that I would find a way to carry ONE MORE THING if I were forced to move tonight! I would almost certainly find a way to take these OMG bars that my friend Donna made for me tonight!
Back in May, I traveled to Georgia to help Donna shoot her brother’s wedding. It was there that we discovered these cheesecake filled chocolate chip cookie bars at the rehearsal dinner! When we were eating our second, third,… no wait… maybe it was our fourth bar, all we could say about them was, “OH MY GOD!” We were told later that the lady who made them actually named them the OMG bars because of the city slicker wedding photographer from Nashville! Heeeheee…
I just so happened to run accross a recipe the other day that looked a lot like these OMG bars, so I forwarded the recipe to Donna as a joke! But she wasn’t joking! She whipped these bad babies up and she made me my own pan of them! Once again, I am sitting at my house eating them, and all I can say is OMG!
