I believe that ordinary people can achieve extraordinary things! The heart is a powerful tool when one pairs it with their mind, and I know from experience that it is possible. All it takes is using one’s heart to drive them toward whatever goal they wish to accomplish. There are no obstacles that can stop you. Only excuses!
I believe that everyone has a story. For some of us that story may be of tragedy, while for others it may not. I also believe that everyone has the ability to write the ending of their own story. We have the power and the ability to bounce back from anything, and you can either choose to let tragedy define who you are as a person and how you will live the rest of your life, or you can stand up and refuse to let it define you… and you can guide the rest of your life toward your hopes and dreams.
I believe that being a mother is the most amazing gift that God could have ever entrusted me with. I never dreamed that I would have children. To be honest… I never wanted to be a mother. But God had a different plan for me, and I am thankful that He knows what is best for me, because Tyler, Sidney, and Peyton have truly been my saving grace!

I believe in kindred spirits. I believe that there are some bonds between two friends that can, and will, NEVER be broken. Every girl needs two things: a great pair of shoes and a kindred spirit friend. I am still looking for my great pair of shoes.
I believe that social media is the greatest thing since fire! It has connected us with long, lost friends. And it has allowed us to keep in touch with people that we meet along the way. It is very quickly replacing many previous avenues of marketing! We can write on walls, poke people, tag our friends, play with make believe animals and cities… what’s not to love?! But with great social media comes great responsibility! If you choose to abuse it, you just might lose all of your friends in the process.
I believe that every girl should spend at least one day lying on a blanket near a beautiful waterfall with a great book, delicious cheese, ripe grapes, and a glass of wine. There is something so magical and so relaxing about spending time in a beautiful, relaxing setting that allows you to disappear or “check out” for a while!
I believe that every life is precious, and the lives of animals are entrusted to us on this earth for a reason. They are not here for us to torture, neglect, abuse, abandon, throw in a ring to fight, or abuse. They are here for us to protect and care for, for as long as we walk this earth.
