Dear Scott:
Exactly ten years ago today, you stood before God, our friends, and our family, and you vowed to love me forever! I’m not really sure what you were thinking back then. I think you should have had your head examined! But luckily for me, you went through with it and you have made me the happiest girl on the planet.
These last ten years have had lots of trials, but even more rewards. I can honestly say that you have saved my life. I know that I was a wreck ten years ago. What you ever saw in me is beyond me. But I am grateful that you saw something in me enough to want to spend the rest of your life with me. Because of you I am a better person. Because of you I am a better everything! And I am truly blessed to be walking next to you through this life.
Thank you! Thank you for loving me. Thank you for being my rock! Thank you for sharing your life with me, even when you do not want to. I am so blessed to be married to someone who is capable of ignoring my idiosyncrasies and is patient enough to wait for me to work through them. I am so blessed to be married to someone who is logical, because I would be following through with some pretty stupid ideas if I weren’t. I am blessed to be married to someone who actually does laundry, because we would all be stinky if we kept waiting on my domestic skills to kick in. And I am so blessed to be married to someone who is strong when I am weak! Thank you for being patient with me!
I love you Scott! Happy Anniversary!

It was pretty easy to promise something that was going to happen anyway. There’s nothing you or anyone else could do to make me not love you. It made me very proud to stand up there in front of everyone we love and make that promise out loud.
I beleive everything happens for a reason. God has a perfect plan that we, as people don’t always understand. I trust that He knew what He was doing when you were placed in my life. I thank Him every night for my beautiful gift. No problem will be given to us that isn’t designed to make us stronger as people and as husband and wife. I know you will always be ther for me, even when it seems like the whole world is on my shoulders. Thank you for being such a fantastic partner. I love you very much, and can’t wait to see what the next ten years brings. Happy anniversary sweetheart!
And P.S., just so everyone knows, the laundry room floor is clear and I haven’t touched dirty clothes in weeks. Plus, we haven’t eaten out in over two weeks. That will change tonight.

Love this post and Love Scott’s response to it. I hope that Mike and I are as mushy and lovely as you two are in ten years. Congrats on such a great milestone in a time where 10 years of marriage is more of a fantasy than a reality. Have a wonderful night and be sure to eat somewhere fun! Love you
WELL!!! That totally almost made me cry too! You guys are good together!
