Okay… just to be clear, you can see my laundry room floor again. I promise that last night’s shopping trip had nothing to do with the fact that we are out of clean underpants and more to do with the fact that I promised Tyler a shopping trip for his birthday… and I may have needed a new outfit for my photo shoot with Chris and Adrienne Scott that is scheduled for next week. Sssshhhhh! Scott calls me the Undomestic Goddess, but I’m not sure that is fair. I mean… I’ve turned into the coupon queen and have the craziest stock pile of green beans and BBQ sauce you can imagine. When a world disaster happens, we are set to live off of BBQ flavored green beans! YUMMO!
So this brings me to another installment of This I Believe:

I believe that we all have our strengths and weaknesses. My weaknesses just happen to be laundry and dogs according to Scott. But I believe they are also my strengths because I choose to look at things with a positive spin. (It’s fun. You should try it!) I look at the fact that my house currently has four dogs living in it as me saving a life. Two of these dogs have been adopted permanently (by us), and the other two are temporary. But if I had not taken them in, they could still be living on the streets hungry or even worse… hit by a car. See? I saved them! And as far as my lack of discipline to keep up with the laundry… come on! Shopping is much more fun. I’m not a complete idiot. I know what I’m doing! Woot Woot! And look at all the money I am saving on dog food now that I know how to COUPON! It leaves me enough money to pay someone to come clean up the dog poop in my yard… because I like wasting money on my pups!
