Nashville Wedding Photographers | Elizabeth and Mike

They met at a Child Focus Conference where she was a teacher, and he was a parent. Mike’s son was in Elizabeth’s sixth grade class, and by the time Spring rolled around they knew they wanted to spend more time together! Their first date of appetizers at an Italian Bistro eventually led to an amazing proposal.

Although there had been several conversations about what it would be like for the two of them to be married, they both knew that it wasn’t just the two of them. Mike and Elizabeth’s children would also be a major factor in their marriage. So when Mike proposed, he presented Elizabeth with six candy ring pops… like the ones you can get at a concession stand at a ball game. Naturally Elizabeth was elated!

When Elizabeth contacted me about shooting their wedding, she informed me that their children were the most important factor in this wedding. They want the children to be the biggest focus, so including them in the engagement session was ideal!

Elizabeth and Mike… CONGRATULATIONS on your engagement! And thank you for allowing me to be a part of it. Your family is beautiful and I can’t wait until your wedding day in October and hanging out with you guys at the McConnell House! Here is your sneak peek from your engagement session!
