Hey guys… most of you know that we have had a nightmare with our blog and lost all of our old posts and comments.  We learned a valuable lesson though… YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR!   But we are back up and running, and everything is now handled in-house!  So surely this will never happen again.  If you subscribed via rss feed, then we hope you have been able to find your way back to our blog to subscribe again!  Previously on our blog we had a wonderful section where we shared tips, tricks, and advice.  It was such a huge hit and we are bringing it back!

So here’s the deal!

Tell us what you know!

Do you know about posing?  Infants?  Toddlers?  Adults?  Weddings?  Nature?   What about lighting? OOH OOH… what about marketing or selling? Photoshop tips? Lightroom tips?  What about photography do’s and dont’s?  Money saving tips?  ANYTHING!

Let’s face it… some of us are better at one thing while others may be more skilled at another. So let’s hear it. We want to share what you know with our readers! So here is what to do:

Type up an article for the Wendy C. Photography blog. You can write about anything you want to as long as it is informative. Please keep your entry “family friendly” and make sure you are including tips, tricks, or advice. You must also include one or two images of your very own with no watermarks. The image needs to be 600 pixels on the longest side and 72 dpi.

E-mail your entry to wendy@wendycphotography.com.

We are not going to put a word number limit on your article, but keep in mind that most readers are not going to stick around to read something that takes an hour to finish. Keep it neat. Keep it clean. Keep it informative… but whatever you would like to share is welcome!

If your article is interesting and informative it will be published! Please make sure you are sending in an article that has not previously been published anywhere else. And one last thing… make sure you include your web address and contact information so that we can properly give you props on our blog!

So let’s have it! You have exactly one month to send in your article. The deadline is October 31st! So get busy! Get creative!… and GET PUBLISHED!  Oh!  And get this… not only will everyone be published as long as you follow the instructions given, but one lucky writer will win a $25 gift certificate from MPIX.  You can use it for yourself or pass on the savings to one of your own clients.  So make sure you are sending in your best informative article so that you can impress our team enough to win!  Humor goes a long way with us as well.  If you’ve never printed with MPIX, then you are in for a treat!  I believe that the quality of MPIX prints are untouchable!
