Things To Know…
The relationship with your photographer will be one of the most intimate relationships between you and all of your wedding vendors. They will be with you before, during, and after the wedding. So make sure communication is easy and there is a good rapport with them. There are good and bad photographers and it is your job to find someone who is dependable, reliable, and capable of answering all of your questions. Don’t just look for someone with a pretty website and the lowest prices.
This is why I offer an engagement session with every package! The engagement session is a very important part of your wedding photography experience. It allows you to get to know your photographer and to get comfortable with them and with being in front of the camera before your wedding day. After all… they will be following you around with a camera all day long. So make sure that you can be yourself, and make sure that you feel comfortable with your photographer. Your wedding day is not the day to be nervous in front of the camera. Having a great experience with your engagement session will ensure that your true personality will be present and show in all of your wedding day photos.
When searching for a wedding photographer, make sure you choose one based on their style of photography. Chances are, if you do not like their photos on their website, then you will not like your wedding photos when they are presented to you. I strongly urge you to hire a photographer that you are in love with… even if you think you can’t afford them. Most photographers will work with you on customizing a package to fit your needs, as well as a payment plan. But do not let package prices be the reason you pass up the photographer that you love, even if that means going with a basic package. Your photographer should keep your wedding photos archived for a very long time. This means that you can always go back and order those albums and parent albums next year!
If you and your favorite photographer are still unable to come to a mutual agreement that fits your budget, do not give up! Ask that photographer to recommend other photographers to you. They should be willing to help you find a professional photographer that is talented and capable of handling your wedding. The Nashville area is full of very talented photographers, and I have recommended several of them to couples anytime they have asked. I have even made recommendations to couples when they had a very large photography budget, but just did not prefer my style. I will always recommend someone that I know is professional, capable, talented and has treated me with kindness and courtesy because I know that same kindness and courtesy will be extended to you!
The following packages (see slideshow) are meant to serve as a guideline for the services and products offered by Wendy C. Photography. All packages may be customized to fit your budget and product needs. The best way to customize a package is to meet for a consultation. So let’s meet for a cup of coffee and talk. I will also be able to show you samples that are sure to wow you!
All packages include an engagement session and a matted fine art, signed 8×10 print, as well as an online password protected web gallery for sharing and print ordering.
